The final of the 13th Green Light Accelerator, organised by VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava, took place on 19 March 2026 in the university auditorium in front of more than 400 visitors. Nine teams presented projects across a range of fields on the final day, from technology through marketing to education.

Among them was a team from the School of Business Administration in Karviná. Jakub Klapka from the Innovative Entrepreneurship programme and David Brzý from the Economics and Management programme presented Reechable to the jury, a platform that helps small and medium businesses work with their customers and build loyalty through digital loyalty cards in the phone and personalised notifications. In the long run it is heading towards a fully automated marketing tool that evaluates customer behaviour on its own and reaches out at the right moment.

The team left the final with 2nd place, a financial award of 75,000 CZK, the audience award and a wild card into the Start it program by ČSOB.

“We came to Green Light with nothing but an idea and a few lines of code. Step by step, through validation in practice and the support of our mentor, we turned it into a real product and won our first customers. The program gave us an enormous amount of experience and contacts and moved us several steps forward. The final itself was a big challenge, we had to deliver the pitch from memory and go through demanding questioning from the jury. That makes us appreciate the second place, the audience award and the chance to continue in another accelerator even more.” — Jakub Klapka, Reechable

The dean of the School of Business Administration in Karviná, doc. Roman Šperka, adds that the project is a great example of how students can develop their own business ideas during their studies and turn them into real products with the potential to succeed on the market.
